The cottage is also close to both the North Devon and North Cornwall coasts and some of the UK s best surfing beaches at Sandymouth Widemouth Bay Bude and Westward Ho! Why not enjoy the spectacular South West Way coastal path and the amazing World Class geology around the Hartland Peninsula? Or the famous Tintagel castle Boscastle Port Isaac or even Padstow! The Tamar lakes are also close by where you can enjoy a range of activates including kayaking fishing sailing and cycling. Or spend a relaxing day a RHS garden Rosemoor. The cottage itself is nestled between the Manor House and 2 other cottages and inside the accommodation is traditionally decorated and is compact and cosy with an open plan layout downstairs. On chilly evenings light the wood burner before curling up with a book or making the most of the TV/DVD. At the top of a beautiful cast iron spiral staircase is the double four-poster bedroom. Outside there is a private patio garden with picnic bench and beautifully stocked beds. Guests also have access to the private sculpture garden shared lawn BBQ area and solar-heated outdoor swimming pool which is available from May to September. If you need to do laundry while away there is a shared utility room with coin-operated washing machine and tumble dryer together with a communal freezer.
