This tiny house retro retreat overlooks a rushy lagoon in the hamlet of Surfleet Seas End where rivers Glen and Welland meet to flow into The Wash. The nearby market town of Spalding boasts a thriving theatre shops supermarkets railway bus station and local attractions from wildlife reserves to a Romany Museum. A little further afield is the historic town of Stamford backdrop to Pride and Prejudice Middlemarch and The Da Vinci Code and home to the famous Burghley Park Horse Trials. Boston from which the Pilgrim Fathers sailed is a short drive and Lincoln Cathedral castle and museum displaying the Magna Carta is a little further. Freiston Shore nature reserve WW2 museum Grimsthorpe Castle Dambusters museum and the Norfolk coast are among many popular destinations. On approaching the entrance to this bijoux cabin heading down a flight of steps you ll step up to a boaty style deck where a French door welcomes you into the colourful open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner. This bright room has plenty of windows so you can enjoy the outside even on rainy days. A triple banquette with plenty of comfy cushions invites you to curl up and relax with a good book pop on the TV or have fun with some old-fashioned board games. The quaint galley-style kitchen has everything you need to rustle up a special dinner including an electric oven and induction hob microwave fridge/freezer and essential dishwasher. The delightful double bedroom tempts you to sleep in and has a smart en-suite which is surprisingly roomy offering a full size shower hand basin and WC. A heated towel rail keeps your towels toasty while the cabinet has a shaver / electric toothbrush socket. Outside the decking area adds to your living space with table and chairs to enjoy dining al fresco and sun lounges for soaking up the solitude. A lawn leads to the edge of the lagoon where there is a bench to sit and enjoy the peace and tranquillity. There is off-road parking and a locker for hiking gear or fishing equipment.
