This spacious house is well-placed for exploring Dumfries and Galloway. The Galloway Forest Park is around 9 miles away and is home to some fantastic walking and cycling trails. The coast is also within easy reach just 4 miles away with lots of wild cliff walks to take and seaside hamlets to visit. Salmon fishing can be arranged on two nearby rivers and trout fishing is available in a private fishery to the rear of the property. There are two more houses on the same estate The Lodge and The Smithy which can be booked together for large family gatherings. Inside the house has spacious rooms and plenty of charm. There is a large living room with a choice of sofas and a wood burner. The separate dining room is well set up for family meals with a large table and plenty of room for everyone to gather and socialise into the evening or plan the day s activities over breakfast. The kitchen is well-equipped with everything you ll need to make tasty family meals including an electric cooker microwave fridge/freezer dishwasher and washer/dryer. There are four bedrooms. On the ground floor is a single bedroom with a second pull-out bed and on the first floor is a king-size bedroom with an en-suite and dressing room plus a double and a twin. There is a family bathroom on the ground floor and a WC on the first floor. Outside there is an enclosed garden with a lawn and mature shrubs and trees as well as ample parking.
