With a lovely beach on your doorstep you may not wish to go far during your stay but for those that do the Isle of Arran offers a wealth of activities and attractions. If you are seeking outdoor activities just south of Lamlash is Arran Outdoor where you can try various activities from sailing to gorge walking although it is advisable to call ahead for availability. Alternatively strike out with a map and take in the stunning landscape of this beautiful island on foot or by bike. Jump in the car and head north to Brodick the island capital and home to the impressive Brodick Castle Gardens and Country Park which offers a great day out for all ages. A visit to the island wouldn t be complete without a trip to Holy Island - boats leave regularly from Lamlash and head out to the uninhabited island where you can see wild ponies sheep goats and sea birds galore. As you walk through the door you will be immediately enchanted by this delightful cottage. Walking through the small entrance hall you come to the cosy sitting room which with its comfy leather sofas and quirky decorative plates is a lovely room in which to relax and take in the stunning view across the green at the front of the house to the sparkling sea beyond. Next door is the compact and well-equipped kitchen with both a breakfast bar and a small table for sharing a relaxed meal together. Next to the kitchen a sliding door opens into a cosy double bedroom. The bathroom is also located on this floor which has a shower over bath and in addition there is a utility room. The steep stairs from the lounge lead up to the other two welcoming double bedrooms upstairs where at the end of the day you can drift off to sleep to the calming sound of the waves outside. In the morning take your coffee outside where you can sit on the bench in the sun and take in the gorgeous views all around while you plan your day ahead. Need to know: 3 bedrooms all doubles (1 of the bedrooms has reduced head height). 1 bathroom with shower over bath and WC. Electric oven, grill and hob, dishwasher, microwave, fridge, freezer, washer/dryer. TV/DVD. CD player. Wi Fi included.
