No trip to Haworth is complete without a visit to the Parsonage the home of the Brontes. Take a stroll around the interesting shops galleries and stop off for lunch at one of the cafes or friendly pubs. Situated in the nearby town of Keighley is Cliffe Castle with victorian furniture high ceilings and Egyptian curios. It houses an impressive collection of rocks stuffed animals (including a two-headed sheep) and knick-knacks from all over the world. Slightly further afield near Bradford is Bingley Five Rise Locks the water here drops very quickly at almost sixty feet this is very popular with those who like to watch the steep descent and is well worth a look if you re in that neck of the woods. On arriving you will be greeted by the pretty front garden surrounded by a white picket fence. Enter through the front door into the lovely farmhouse style kitchen with centre island/breakfast bar perfect for keeping those in the kitchen company or just to sit and enjoy a morning coffee. The kitchen is equipped with electric Range oven and hob fridge freezer and a dishwasher so no washing up after a busy day. There is also washer/dryer in the kitchen everything needed to make it feel home from home. The tastefully decorated open-plan lounge/diner is inviting with its centred feature fireplace which has a wood burner effect gas fire on either side to keep the lounge and dining area cosy. After a busy day relax on the large corner sofa in front of the TV with Blu-ray or curl up in the armchair with a good book. The pleasant dining area has table and chairs with enough space to comfortably seat six people. Heading upstairs you will find the three bedrooms a beautiful king-size with ornamental fireplace TV plenty of storage and en-suite shower room consisting of shower and WC. Completing the first floor is the fabulous large family bathroom with a deep egg-shaped bath and WC. If you re looking for some peace and quiet take the spiral staircase up to the small reading area with your favourite book.
