A delightful thatched cottage in the quiet village of Osmington is the perfect place to appreciate the tranquillity of the Dorset countryside. With lots of space the whole family will be able to spread out and make the most of their holiday and with lots to see and do in the local area everyone will be happy. The seaside town of Weymouth with its long sandy beach Victorian esplanade and variety of attractions is well worth a visit. Or why not head 11 miles east to the rock arch Durdle Door and walk along the stunning beach at the horseshoe-shaped Lulworth Cove in the village of West Lulworth with its selection of cafes pubs and shops. You can enter this property via the steps from the village lane up to the front door or via the level access at the rear that leads to the back door. Entering through the front door you will find yourself in a small hallway with the spacious double aspect lounge on your left. With its light walls cool palette and warm woods this room is well-lit and spacious. On cooler evenings you can light the gas log-effect fire to create a cosy feel. There are French doors leading from the lounge into a modest conservatory which allows guests to relax whilst looking out to the garden. To the right of the hallway is the large kitchen/diner which again is light and airy. The exposed beams in the kitchen remind you of the building s heritage as does the cottage-style furniture and Belfast sink. Moving through the well-equipped kitchen you can walk around to the far end of the lounge or out through the back door into the courtyard garden. There is also a WC on this floor. Ascending the staircase the fresh contemporary cottage-style continues with neutral light-reflecting colours throughout with touches of warm woods. There are four bedrooms: one king-size one double one twin and one single. The king-size room has an en-suite shower room whilst the other rooms share the modern family bathroom with a shower over the bath. Outside there is a delightful mature courtyard garden with shrubs and plants to create interest. There are a few different seating areas including a picnic bench on a gravelled area for al fresco family meals in the Dorset sunshine.
