This delightful cottage is located in the stunning Devonshire countryside close to the popular village of Hartland as well as a short drive to private village of Clovelly famous for its cobbled streets. Slightly further afield from the pretty harbour town of Bideford offering narrow winding streets lined with interesting shops making it a wonderful place to spend an afternoon. Or why not take the boat from Bideford Quay or Ilfracombe out to the island of Lundy a beautiful three-mile wide wild island located in the Bristol Channel. There are several beaches in the area the closest being Hartland Quay which has spectacular scenery throughout the year and the large family-friendly beach at Westward Ho! which also boasts two miles of sand and a surfing academy. Entering the property via external stone steps you are greeted with an open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner with views over the garden and surrounding countryside. The kitchen is well-equipped with electric oven and hob microwave and fridge/freezer. The lounge area has a TV/DVD surrounded by comfy sofas the perfect place to relax at the end of the day catching up on a movie or just admiring the views across the garden and a good size dining table makes for easy mealtimes. Heading down the stairs to a lower ground floor you will find two bedrooms a double and a twin bedroom. Completing the property is the shower room with underfloor heating a shower and WC. Stepping outside you will find an enclosed lawn area with garden furniture and charcoal BBQ. You will also be able to explore the site and have access to the shared indoor heated swimming pool private sessions can be arranged on arrival here you can also enjoy the sauna and hot tub. A shared games room is adjacent to the pool area with table tennis darts and pool table as well as a comfy seating area and large TV plenty of books and games are also available and makes a great facility for adults and children alike. A shared utility room is also onsite with washing machines and a tumble dryer that are coin operated. Plus a shared gated field perfect for exercising the dogs. Ample parking is also available. Need to know: Due to COVID 19 the indoor pool will be available on a rota basis, the hot tub and sauna are closed.
