This delightful cottage is located in the stunning Devonshire countryside close to the popular village of Hartland as well as a short drive to private village of Clovelly famous for its cobbled streets. There are several beaches in the area the closest being Hartland Quay which has spectacular scenery throughout the year and the large family-friendly beach at Westward Ho! which also boasts two miles of sand and a surfing academy. Or why not take the boat from Bideford Quay or Ilfracombe out to the island of Lundy a beautiful three-mile wide wild island located in the Bristol Channel. Slightly further from the property is the pretty harbour town of Bideford offering narrow winding streets lined with interesting shops makes it a wonderful place to spend an afternoon. You access this cottage through the enclosed garden and enter into the ground floor hallway where you have the two bedrooms a double and a twin. There is also a shower room with underfloor heating a shower and WC here. Heading up the stairs to the first foor you will find the open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner with views over the garden and surrounding countryside. The kitchen is well-equipped with electric oven and hob microwave and fridge/freezer. A good size dining table makes for easy mealtimes and the lounge area has a TV/DVD surrounded by comfy sofas the perfect place to relax at the end of the day catching up on a movie or just admiring the views across the garden. Stepping outside is your own enclosed lawn area with garden furniture and charcoal BBQ. A shared utility room is also found onsite with washing machines and a tumble dryer that are coin operated. Guests also have access to explore the site and of course have access to the shared indoor heated swimming pool private sessions can be arranged on arrival. Here you can also enjoy the sauna and hot tub. A separate shared games room is adjacent to the pool area with table tennis darts and pool table as well as a comfy seating area and large TV plenty of books and games are also available and makes a great facility for adults and children alike. Plus a shared gated field perfect for exercising the dogs. Ample parking is also available. Need to know: Due to COVID 19 the indoor pool will be available on a rota basis, the hot tub and sauna are closed. The dog exercise field is also available on a rota basis organised by the owner on arrival.
