For a fun day out there are a range of attractions worth a visit including The Lost Gardens of Heligan the Eden Project Charlestown one of the filming locations in the TV series Poldark and Hangloose Adventures. Polruan is a quaint little village situated on a very steep hill, so access to some parts of the village can be challenging.. Many of the amenities, ferries and cottages in Polruan are accessed via steps some of which can be steep. Please contact us if you have specific requirements.. There are many small winding streets that are not suitable for cars, therefore many properties in Polruan do not have private parking. However, there is a large pay and display carpark at the top of the village..
