Guests will enjoy watching the horses that are kept close by in the adjacent stables and meadow. A foot/bridle path runs directly from the cottage driveway offering a chance to explore the surrounding countryside and see various wildlife along the way. Access to the local tramway which is ideal for cycling is close by. From the trail you can reach the sandy beach at Portreath or follow it the opposite direction to meet the coast at Devoran (cycle hire can be arranged with the owners). The sandy bays of Portreath and Porthtowan with their provisions are around 2 miles away from the accommodation. This north coastal area offers excellent surfing and attractions to suit all ages including the ruins of mine buildings around St Agnes and Cligga Point Newquay Godrevy the Cornish Cider Farm Newquay Zoo and Aquarium Flambards Theme Park and a reasonable drive to the Lizard and Land s End peninsulas.
