This property is located in the quiet hamlet on the edge of the Isle of Wight s Parkhurst Forest a pretty woodland area known for its resident red squirrels and part of the island s Red Squirrel Trail which offers 32 miles of traffic-free cycling around the island also a perfect location for walking . This tranquil part of the island may feel secluded but it is in an excellent location for enjoying all that the island has to offer and is located only 3 miles from the island s capital of Newport with its shops restaurants pubs and cinema. Also within easy reach are numerous beautiful beaches for which the island is known with those at Gurnard and Thorness being the closest just a ten-minute drive away. Stepping through the front door of this property guests will come first to a hallway where they are able to leave their coats before continuing on to the kitchen/diner which is well-equipped and offers an oven hob microwave fridge/freezer and dishwasher. At the far end of the room the dining area doubles up as a seating area furnished not only with a dining table but also a relaxing sofa. A separate utility room meanwhile houses the washing machine tumble dryer and a second fridge. Two of the property s bedrooms can also be found on this floor: a restful double room and a twin room with views to the forest. There is also a bathroom with a shower-over-bath and WC.
