Among the highlights are the Housesteads Roman Fort and Trail The Chesters Trail and the Birdoswald Roman Fort. You will be near the pretty riverside market town of Hexham which is steeped in history dating back to the Vikings in the 1300s. Located on the south banks of the River Tyne the town is surrounded by wonderful countryside and offers a superb range of shops restaurants and pubs. Notable attractions include Hexham Abbey Hexham Houses Hexham Country Park Dukeshouse Wood and Hexham Racecourse. The much-loved town of Corbridge is full of history charm and a range of independent shops and boutiques. On entering this light and cosy single-level studio-style holiday home a step up to the door leads you into the entrance lobby. Stepping into the lounge/bedroom you will find a comfy and welcoming room which is ideal for unwinding in with comfortable seating TV and a double bed.
