A few miles away is the bustling port of Amble where you can stroll around its atmospheric marina browse the Sunday market and even try out some water sports on the sandy beach. Just a little further north the ancient village of Warkworth is dominated by a medieval castle and really comes alive during the annual Puffin Festival in May. All the accommodation in the property is on the ground floor so ideal for guests with restricted mobility. An entrance hall leads to the inviting lounge where you can snuggle up on the two comfortable sofas in front of the wood burner and enjoy entertainment including DVD CD and iPod dock. The adjacent dining room has delightful views of the front garden and features a table and chairs to accommodate six a desk and another wood burner. Outside the property is a fenced-off patio area with table chairs and BBQ plus half an acre of grassed paddock incorporating a bird watching / star gazing hut with fire pit affectionately called The Cherry Tree Arms and football goals - we think you may well be spending a fair bit of time outdoors!
