Miller s Dale sits along a serene stretch of the River Wye between Buxton and Bakewell. This beautiful part of the Peak District National Park is a walkers and cyclists paradise with a number of stunning walks straight from the door and the Monsal Trail cycle route a stones throw from the cottage. Historical highlights in the area include Chatsworth House Haddon Hall Eyam Hall Peveril Castle and Bolsover Castle. There are numerous cycle routes including Tissington Trail High Peak Trail and Monsal Trail. Miller s Dale itself is widely regarded as the most impressive dale within the area with a barrage of natural obstacles such as side stepping hills gaps gorges and rock faces which is an adventurer s paradise. Stepping up into the cottage the beautiful country kitchen welcomes you with its charm. There is a farmhouse table which is the perfect spot for breakfast and the kitchen is laden with everything you need for a home away from home stay with electric range oven and hob microwave and dishwasher. There is a utility area with fridge/freezer washing machine and WC and French doors opening out onto the garden. The side porch is the perfect place to hang coats and kick off muddy boots from here steps lead up to the higher garden area. Leading through into the cosy lounge with comfortable sofas perfectly arranged in front of the wood burner and TV/DVD. The next room is the dining room with a table large enough for the whole family to gather around and enjoy that celebration dinner with a feature fireplace and charming window seat this is a lovely room. Finally on the ground floor is the snug with seating and TV/DVD a great space for a competitive game of Trivial Pursuit. Heading upstairs the long landing presents four bedrooms a stylish twin with French style beds a cosy double with lovely river views a charming single with stunning fabrics and antique furniture. The spacious master offers a king-size bed with TV and en-suite shower room with WC and access onto the balcony. All bedrooms benefit from windows overlooking the nearby river Wye. Completing the accommodation the bathroom offers a beautiful freestanding bath separate shower and WC. Heading outside there are lots of outdoor spaces to enjoy with garden to three sides of the property and various seating areas. To the side is a patio with grassed area and raised beds.
