Venture a little further on foot and you ll reach Rye Harbour Nature Reserve with its shingle ridges saltmarsh and saline lagoons 90 species of birds nest here. The historic Cinque Port town of Rye is only two miles away and is perfect for exploring local antique shops along the medieval cobbled streets with pubs restaurants and tea rooms. For the perfect summer s day head to the stunning sandy beach at Camber Sands. The sunny yellow front door of the cottage opens into a light filled spacious hall. A Victorian hat stand provides useful hanging space for dropping off hats coats and buckets and spades. Contemporary and charming the open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner features a large corner sofa on which to curl up in front of the cosy wood burner and play a board game or watch TV. The well-equipped kitchen offers an electric range oven and hob fridge with ice compartment freezer and dishwasher. From the kitchen table enjoy views to the courtyard style garden.
