A short woodland stroll from the property brings guests to the Grizedale Forest visitor centre where they will find a playground café cycling routes a Go-Ape high ropes centre and info on the forest. Both Lake Windermere and Coniston water two of the region s best known lakes are less than eight miles away and give the visitors chance to try their hand at various water sports or perhaps take a pleasure cruise if they are looking for a more restful experience.
