The small village of Stretton-on-Fosse touches the Gloucestershire/Warwickshire border and a short drive from The Fosse Way but far enough away to enjoy the peace and quiet making it a good base to tour the Cotswolds. There s a good choice of fabulous local walks so bring the dog they ll love it. Many National Trust properties and gardens are on the doorstep including Hidcote Manor a short drive away. Drive to Moreton-in-Marsh train station for a leisurely journey to Oxford or London not forgetting the beautiful cathedral city of Hereford at the other end of the line.
