Moorsholm is located inland amongst dramatic countryside between seaside resorts Whitby and Saltburn. With North York Moors on the doorstep it is an ideal base for walkers and cyclers or to explore the quaint moorland villages within the National Park. Pretty little fishing village of Staithes is just 10 miles away and the bustling resorts of Whitby Scarborough and Saltburn are all within easy drive for attractions boat trips and water sports and other visitor attractions. Golfers have a choice of four popular courses and there is fresh water and sea fishing opportunities galore. Entering this lovely cottage from steps off the quiet village street into the large open-plan lounge/diner with a reading area by the front window to one side and large dining area to enjoy your evening meal. Step a little further into the lounge area with a cosy wood burner to take the chill away and warm your bones after a busy day walking on the moors. The kitchen flows nicely from the lounge through a stable style door and enjoys a breakfast table and neatly arranged well-equipped kitchen which has an electric oven and hob microwave fridge with ice compartment and washing machine. The open staircase leads from the lounge area up to the three bedrooms all leading from the landing. There is one large double bedroom and two single bedrooms. There is also a shower room with shower and WC on this floor. The pretty private walled courtyard is just outside of the kitchen definitely a sun trap to take advantage of morning coffees or snacks and wine on an evening. If you have bikes or canoes for your trip there is a cellar where you can securely store them just ask the owner. There is roadside parking available at the property (subject to availability).
