The cottage is situated in the popular village of Braithwate conveniently located to the A66. Surrounded by dramatic mountains lakes and countryside the area is a haven for active folk both on land and water. An abundance of walks and cycle routes can be explored from the doorstep. Keswick is a tourist hot spot and provides an array of independent shops eateries galleries and parks to enjoy all on the doorstep of Derwentwater. The Theatre by the lake Honister Slate Mine Catbells Lakeland Walk Kewswick museum are all within easy reach. For the adrenaline junkies the area provides the hugely popular Go Ape alongside river rafting and tubing climbing ziplines and aerial adventure park for an unforgettable day out. This is a stunning and beautifully decorated cottage throughout with each room having their own identity whilst still having a sense of flow throughout. Starting at the large lounge / diner this is a bright and airy space with magnificent glass bi-folding doors out onto the garden and attractive and comfortable sofas to relax in. Continuing outside there are well-kept private lawned gardens and a patio area - perfect for watching the sun go down with a glass in hand after a busy day of exploring.
