The lovely town of Padstow is nearby a great place for restaurants and home to the popular Christmas Festival. Other local attractions include the surfing paradise of Polzeath the delightful shopping town Wadebridge the cathedral city Truro numerous National Trust properties Bodmin Steam Railway go-karting The Eden Project and many fabulous local beaches like Bedruthan Steps and Watergate Bay. This is an ideal spot for walkers and cyclists on the Camel Trail. The nearest village is the aptly named Blisland complete with traditional inn to help you round the day off or to explore Saints way. See if you can see the scenes that were filmed for the famous Poldark locally as I m sure you will recognise many. For those wanting to sample some of the finer restaurants then it s only a short drive away to Nathan Outlaws (Port Isaac) Emily Scott (St Tudy Inn) and Rick Steins (Padstow).
