The coastal walks and beaches of St Ives Bay are just North of the cottage a favourite with artists for generations and a surfer s paradise. To the west lies Land s End and the beautiful beaches of Sennen Cove. Penzance is close and the largest town in the area with plenty of choice for shopping days restaurants and cinema. Catch a day trip to the Isles of Scilly on the Scillonian visit Newlyn Harbour and Mousehole or visit endless National trust properties AONB walks and beaches and stunning natural scenery. Local attractions include the beaches on the north and south coast the Tate Modern in St Ives Tremenheere Sculpture gardens Poldark and Geevor Tin mines and the experience of the rugged coastal Minack theatre. The cottage is only 1.5 miles from St Erth main line rail station from which the scenic St Ives coastal train (park and ride) can be taken. Within 100 yards of your door you ll find a regular bus service which goes to Penzance Hayle and St Ives with open topped buses (in season).
