Visit Bangor on Dee which is famed for its racecourse or take a trip on the horse-drawn canal boat in Llangollen. The National Trust properties Chirk Castle and Erddig are also within easy reach as is Wales highest waterfall Pistyll Rhaeadr with its impressive 73 metre cascade. Keen walkers will also be happy to discover the Maelor Way and Berwyn mountains. Relax and unwind after a busy day exploring in the cottage lounge with its wood burner where you can snuggle up on the sofa and watch the TV or use the DVD.
