It backs onto the popular golf course and it s a level walk to the centre of the seaside town of Minehead providing a great base for exploring West Somerset. Minehead boasts a wealth of shops pubs and restaurants as well as it s famous long sandy beach while the quaint village of Porlock and the medieval town of Dunster are also nearby. Keen walkers have plenty of options with Exmoor National Park The Quantocks and the South West Coast Path all easily accessible from the property. Watermouth Castle the Valley of the Rocks and the West Somerset Steam Railway are also worth a visit. Relax next to the woodburner in the cosy lounge/diner which really feels like a home from home. The first batch of logs are included while further logs can be bought direct from the owner. In the lounge area you ll also find a TV and DVD - perfect for a quiet night in or perhaps a rainy day - as well as a small dining table to the side which is ideal for the two of you to enjoy an evening meal. The kitchen has everything you could need during your stay including a gas oven and hob microwave fridge/freezer and washer/dryer. The bedroom is a spacious super-king-size zip-and-link (which can be made into a twin on request) while the shower room has a shower and WC. Outside you ll find a quaint enclosed courtyard garden with garden furniture where you can relax in the fresh Somerset air on a sunny day. There s also ample parking available at the property.
