This property is one of three barn conversion holiday cottages located at the end of a farm track on the owner s farm which is just one mile from the Devonshire village of Shebbear. There is plenty to see and do within a thirty minute drive of the property including the traditional harbour town of Bideford where there is an interesting array of independent shops and from where it possible to take a boat trip out to the wildlife rich island of Lundy with its resident seal colony. The privately owned traffic-free village of Clovelly is also within a thirty minute drive as are the sandy beaches of Bude and Westward Ho! This stylish barn conversion property provides spacious and comfortable accommodation for a couple with some lovely original features. On the ground floor the open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner is a lovely relaxing space with two separate seating areas one in front of the cosy woodburner and the other offering somewhere to enjoy the TV and DVD. At the opposite end of the room there is a dining table seating four and a well equipped kitchen with an oven and hob American-style fridge/freezer microwave and dishwasher. Outside there is a spacious sunny enclosed courtyard with garden furniture and a BBQ making it a wonderful spot to enjoy alfresco drinks or meals during the summer months. Guests are also able to make use of the owner s 12 acres of woodland and neighbouring paddock which make a great space for exercising dogs. There is ample parking provided.
