Ludlow also offers a medieval castle and a host of events and festivals throughout the year. For bookworms the literary town of Hay-on-Wye with its world-famous annual festival is easily accessible too. You can find many National Trust properties and gardens open seasonally within a 20-minute drive including Berrington Hall Brockhampton Estate and Croft castle. A little further afield walkers can discover the Brecon Beacons the Black Mountains and the stunning Elan Valley with its visitors center. Set within the owner s grounds and surrounded by rich pastures and meadows you ll start to unwind as you travel up the driveway. The property is tucked to the side of the owner s home offering a private entrance and friendly welcome from your hosts. Step inside the small porch where there is a place and remove your boots after a day exploring. When the day is done you will find a king-size bedroom where you can enjoy a peaceful night s rest amongst the soft linen. There is an en-suite shower and WC.
