The pretty village of Hawkshead is renowned for its links to Beatrix Potter and William Wordsworth and both literary figures are celebrated in the village s National Trust properties. There a variety of local shops in the village along with a host of pubs and cafés. Lake Windermere and Coniston Water are both situated within five miles of the property and offer plenty of opportunities for boat rides water sports and scenic walks around their shores. Entering this fine cottage you will find yourself in the hall area with hooks and boot rack to store those muddy clothes after a day exploring this wonderful region. Firstly is the main shower room with a shower and WC. Next is the kitchen which still retains the original beams and exposed stone wall here you will find all you need to cook up a storm with an electric oven and hob microwave fridge and dining area for all. The first of the bedrooms is on the ground floor a double with a lovely exposed wall. Heading up to the first floor we arrive straight into the lounge which offers the perfect place to kick back and relax. The second bedroom is located of the lounge a double with an en-suite shower and WC. Outside you will find a patio area with seating to enjoy those sunny days and a small stream at the bottom.
