Picturesque Hamsterley Forest boasts plenty of wildlife and is ideal for peaceful walking cycling and enjoying a picnic or visit popular Durham City Barnard Castle Raby Castle or the fascinating Bowes Museum and Gardens. Access to the cottage is via five stone steps then you will be welcomed into the warm well-equipped kitchen/diner with everything you need to prepare a romantic meal including an electric oven and gas hob microwave and fridge with ice compartment.
