Beach lovers are well catered for with Saunton Croyde Woolacombe and Westward Ho! a short drive away. But should you wish to explore further afield the pretty coastal villages at Hartland and Clovelly are worth a visit. Barnstaple offers amenities including the characterful Pannier Market and at Bideford you can jump on the Oldenburg and enjoy a day boat trip to Lundy Island. Other attractions accessible from here include nearby Portmore Golf course Tapeley Park Arlington Court and Dartington Crystal.
