This is a great base to explore the coast and country of Norfolk head to the coast and explore the sandy beaches or visit The Wash National Nature Reserve with nature trails visitor centre and cafe. Head to the Sandringham Estate with picturesque country house museum of royal life and 40 acres of gardens. A short drive to King s Lynn with shops and restaurants and a golf course for those who enjoy sports in nearby Downham Market and Kings Lynn. For those wishing to pursue country sports there is pay per day coarse fishing available at Woodlakes Manor Farm Lakes and the Great Ouse Relief Channel. Head inland to Thetford Forest Park for a day out with the family with trails and picnic areas and various activities for children and adults including archery.
