There are many fabulous walks right from the doorstep including the Gloucestershire Way and Offa s Dyke Path that will take you up onto Tidenham Chase and further onto the Devil s Pulpit where you can enjoy views onto Tintern Abbey. The Forest of Dean and Wye Valley are also within easy reach and offer well marked cycling and walking trails. Chepstow is a traditional market town that is within walking distance and steeped in history where you can explore the castle or relax within the castle grounds; take a stroll down to the river where you can join the Wye Valley path that meanders alongside the banks of the River Wye. The peaceful village of Tintern famed for the ruins of Tintern Abbey and books is perfect for a lazy afternoon tea. And for the more adventurous The National Diving and Activity Centre is also nearby where you can enjoy zip wire rides water walking and fly boarding as well as diving for all abilities. The sympathetically restored coach house offers comfortable living space with original high ceilings and original stable stalls that divide the kitchen/dining space. The dining space is light and spacious where you can enjoy a hearty breakfast or simple supper; there are two cosy armchairs where you can relax and retreat into a good book. For relaxing there is a cosy lounge with wood burner where you can sink into the sofa and enjoy a movie on the TV after a day exploring. The bathroom offers a claw-foot bath where you can soak in style plus there is a shower over the bath and WC. The coach house offers an enclosed private garden space with table and chairs where you can enjoy the morning sun. There is an adjoining paddock which you are free to roam which also has access to the Gloucestershire Way. There is off-road parking for 1 car and secure bicycle storage.
