For a family day out Alton Towers Matlock Farm Park Chatsworth House and Kedleston Hall are all a short drive away as are pretty towns and villages such as Matlock Bath Ashbourne Bakewell and Buxton all of which boast an array of shops and restaurants. Stepping through the porch where you can leave behind you coats and boots the cottage welcomes you into the kitchen/diner with a traditional stone floor and low ceilings enhancing the cottage character which is contrasted alongside the sleek and stylish kitchen.
