The nearby market town Holsworthy is worth a visit with shops restaurants pubs and a weekly pannier market. Within a short distance are the the sandy beaches of Bude and Widemouth Bay slightly further afield are the rugged cliffs of Hartland Clovelly and Crackington Haven. For cyclists there is the Holsworthy cycle route or catch a game of golf go fishing or just take a leisurely country stroll. For hikers take a drive to the rugged scenery of Bodmin Moor it includes Brown Willy the highest point in Cornwall.
