This is a fantastic base from which to explore the many local historic houses gardens and vineyards as well as the Kent and East Sussex coastline with the soft golden sand of Camber only 10 miles away. Children and adults alike will also enjoy a visit to the nearby Rare Breeds Centre where they can see farm animals up close and enjoy a tractor ride. Enter the cottage through the front door where there is space for leaving coats and outdoor footwear. The door opens into the light and spacious open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner with original oak beam features. The lounge area has two comfy sofas and armchairs surrounding the TV/DVD. The well-equipped kitchen area has all the equipment you would expect for creating great family meals including a gas oven and hob fridge freezer and microwave. There is the option for one additional single pull out bed that can be made available for children in this room and a sofa bed in the lounge area to be requested when booking. The second bedroom a has king-size bed and an en-suite shower and WC. The property is completed with a utility cupboard in the hallway that houses the washing machine and there is also a separate WC off the hallway. Outside there is a large patio area with furniture and a charcoal BBQ for al fresco dining in the beautiful countryside on long Summer evenings. There is private parking for three cars.
