Just 6 miles from the cottage is the small and mighty village of Brora. Stroll along the sand and hunt for Jurassic rocks along the beach where you may even spot a dolphin or minke whale. Enjoy a round of golf on the coast-side course and tour Clynelish Distillery founded in 1819. For a scenic drive follow the North Coast 500 route from Brora to explore the Highlands spectacular coastline. Spend a day discovering the splendid interiors of Dunrobin Castle (11 miles) and the romantic formal gardens or head south for the Loch Fleet National Nature Reserve (18 miles). Throughout the cottage is bright light and elegantly decorated. Step into the open-plan lounge/diner. To the left is the lounge area with plenty of comfortable seating around the open fire.
