The pretty village of Great Ayton is 3 miles away and well worth a visit for a trip to the Captain Cook School Museum and a nice meal. Head to the iconic landmark of Roseberry Topping for a refreshing circular walk and a view across to the North Sea. Slightly further afield is The Cleveland Way a National Trail in ancient Cleveland it runs 110 miles between Helmsley and the Brigg at Filey skirting the North York Moors National Park. Once inside you will find yourself in the open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner with light flooding in from patio doors looking out over the garden area and velux windows.
