The historic village of Arne makes a perfect base for exploring the area with RSPB Stoborough Heath (4 miles) and Hartland Moor National Nature Reserve (3 miles) nearby. Wareham (4.5 miles) offers a choice of restaurants pubs and shops or you could visit the historic village of Corfe Castle (5.5 miles) and explore the remains of the medieval castle. A steam train runs from Corfe Castle to the thriving seaside town of Swanage (11.5 miles). Lulworth Cove (12.5 miles) and Studland (10.5 miles) are also within easy reach. Entering this former Victorian school house you can leave coats and boots in the porch and then head into the spacious and welcoming lounge.
