The coastal path leads to Chapman s Pool (1.5 miles) and Lulworth Cove (16 miles) to the west with the thriving town of Swanage (4.5 miles) to the east. Swanage is famous for its glorious sandy beach which is perfect for swimming paddling boating fishing and diving as well as traditional entertainments including pedaloes and Punch and Judy. The town has a steam railway which links with the village of Corfe Castle (6 miles from Swanage) famous for its medieval castle and thatched cottages. Located on a no-through lane leading to a path down to the sea at Winspit this pretty cottage is named after the robin-sized bird that is a summer visitor. On entering this 18th-century cottage you will find yourself in the light and attractive open-plan lounge/diner. This is a delightful space to relax in with comfortable seating TV Blu-ray DVD and a Hi-Fi as well as a wood burner set within a beamed fireplace. There s also a cheerful dining area set by the window. Going into the kitchen it s equipped with a ceramic hob combi microwave oven dishwasher dryer and fridge with an ice compartment. You will also find the shower room on the ground floor which is complete with a walk-in shower WC and underfloor heating. Steep cottage style stairs lead you up to the first floor where you will find the first double bedroom. Very steep stairs with a rope handrail will take you up to the double bedroom on the second floor. Please note this room is set in the eaves of the house and has a low sloping ceiling. Stepping outside there is a very small courtyard. Car parking can be found in the village car park just 200 metres away. Need to know: 2 double bedrooms. 1 shower room with shower and WC.
