For families excellent nearby attractions include the Bovington Tank Museum and Monkey World both within a five-mile radius. This cottage is on the end of a short row of pretty cottages and upon entering for the first time you ll be surprised at how deceptively spacious it is. Moving past the hall space with room for boots coats and any outside gear there s the choice of two rooms. To your right is the doorway to the kitchen while to the left there s the large lounge and dining area. The kitchen has a practical tiled floor and is well-equipped for all your needs. A second doorway leads directly through to the lounge making it easy to wander between the two rooms while you re cooking dinner. Although the village pub is just a short 150-yard stroll you ll find it hard to drag yourself away from the comfort of the cottage. Snuggle up in the window loveseat with a spot of holiday reading or stretch out next to the open fire and just relax listening to the crackle of the logs. The low-beamed ceilings add to the intimacy of the cottage and these continue upstairs. A steep winding staircase leads to two walkthrough bedrooms which sleep a maximum of four. Bright and airy the first bedroom is a twin with a door that connects to the double bedroom beyond. The comfortable bathroom is accessed via a door at the entrance of the twin room. To the front of the property you ll find a lush lawn garden complete with flowerbeds shrubs and a shady willow tree. A paved path provides direct access to the doors while parking is available in the adjacent field or on the village lane itself.
