Hartland Moor Nature Reserve (7.5 miles) RSPB Stoborough Heath (8.5 miles) and Durlston Country Park (5 miles) are all nearby or you could spend a day in the traditional seaside town of Swanage (4 miles) or catch a steam train to Corfe Castle (5.5 miles). From Studland you can catch a ferry to Poole or Brownsea Island.
