Outside guests can enjoy a large patio area along with plenty of lawn areas surrounding the cottage if you wish to lay down a picnic blanket for a spot of al fresco dining. Guests can also get to know the resident farm animals from sampling freshly laid eggs to watching the horses being shod. The property is located next door to the owner''s farm and families can watch activities such as horses being shod (hence the name Anvil Cottage) and sheepdogs being trained on the extensive farmland surrounding the property. An evening meal can be provided on arrival if required, please request this at the time of booking. Dogs are not permitted inside the cottage, however you would be very welcome to use the owner's purpose built stone kennels by prior arrangement. Security deposit of 100 payable.
