The town is just perfect for a leisurely stroll taking in the lovingly maintained architecture and browsing the weekly farmers market with its local produce and hand produced goods. Drive just 4 miles north of the town to reach the coast which is dotted with quaint harbour towns peaceful coastal reserves and splendid sandy beaches. The front door of this barn conversion cottage brings guests to a small hallway to the right of which they will find the cosy lounge/diner. In one corner of the room the dining table seats two guests whilst an inviting sofa sits under the beamed ceiling perfect for spending an evening curled with a film on the TV/DVD. Crossing the hall a second door leads guests into the kitchen which has been finished in a country style and offers an oven hob microwave fridge with ice compartment dishwasher and washing machine. Returning to the hallway an oak staircase leads up to the landing beyond which the double bedroom can be found: a restful room with dual-aspect windows and a recessed hanging space for clothes. The bathroom can also be found on the first floor and offers a Victorian-style rolltop bath as well as a separate shower cubicle and WC. Please note that due to the period and style of the property there are some areas of low head-height. Patio doors from the lounge lead out to the cottage s walled garden a delightful space which is mainly set to lawn also benefitting from a patio seating area with garden furniture. Unusually for the centre of Holt this property comes with a parking space for one car at the front of the property an excellent addition which means you won t need to use the town s public car parks.
