Located in the English Riviera town of Brixham just a short walk from the town s harbour. The town has a long standing maritime history and the harbour remains the heart of the town. Enjoy a choice of boat trips from relaxing tours of Torbay accompanied fishing trips and a regular service across the bay to the resort town of Torquay. There is plenty to see and do from beaches to restaurants to scuba and even a fascinating replica of Sir Francis Drake s ship The Golden Hind. Further afield the towns of Paignton and Torquay are also popular destinations with other visitor attractions including the golden sandy beaches a zoo an aquarium and a wonderful steam railway which runs through the Dart Valley. As you arrive at this delightful coastal retreat the hallway lobby is the perfect place to leave your walking boots behind you. Following on you enter the open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner. The lounge has been fitted and furnished to a lovely standard by the owner offering two comfy sofas and Smart TV. A truly great space to relax after a long day of exploring. The kitchen/diner comprises of an electric oven and gas hob washing machine fridge/freezer and microwave. The dining area is spacious and offers seating for up to four guests. Head up the typical fisherman s cottage winding staircase from the lounge area to the first floor and you are greeted by the master bedroom which offers a double bed TV and en-suite shower room with shower and WC. Heading up the final part of the staircase where you will need to mind your head as head room is restricted you will enter the light and airy twin room fitted to a beautiful standard. Also on this floor you will find the family bathroom which offers a shower over bath and WC. Roadside parking is available at the next street behind (subject to availability) alternatively there are long stay public car parks located nearby and a parking permit can be purchased from the local council. Brixham is busy fishing village situated on a very steep hill, so access to some parts of the village can be challenging.. Many of the amenities and cottages in Brixham are accessed via steps some of which can be steep.. Please contact us if you have specific requirements.. There are many small winding streets that are not suitable for cars, therefore many properties in Brixham do not have private parking. However, alternative parking is available in local carparks..
