There is plenty to see and do in the area to suit a wide range of different tastes including the handsome stately home and gardens at Harewood House the Turkish Baths in Harrogate and the beautifully tended gardens at RHS Harlow Carr. The city of Leeds which is located 15 miles south of the property is a popular shopping mecca which is home to a branch of Harvey Nichols and a range of other designer shops. This stunning property has been converted to a very high standard and guests cannot help but fall in love from the moment they arrive. The first thing that they will notice is the fantastic sense of space and light which the property affords due to the huge floor-to-ceiling windows in the main living areas. The main lounge is a particularly spacious room which overlooks the large garden and has several deep sofas which allow for plenty of room to stretch out whilst enjoying a film or your favourite TV show. This room leads on to the dining/kitchen another light-filled space which has a large table and large bi-fold doors which allow guests to extend the room outside onto the patio. The kitchen offers a good range of equipment including an oven hob microwave two fridges freezer and dishwasher. The washing machine and tumble dryer meanwhile can be found in the handy boot-room which is located just off the main hallway and offers not only laundry facilities but also a dehumidifier and drying rack which are very useful for guests who have been out and about enjoying walks in the local area. One king-size bedroom can be found on the ground floor opposite which there is a shower room with a walk-in shower and WC as well as separate cloakroom with additional WC. Taking the stairs to the first floor guests will find a second open-plan lounge room which has been set up as a play room and offers a great selection of childrens toys a TV and a Sony PS3 games console. This room can also be used as an additional bedroom as it offers a single bed with additional pull-out bed (can be made up as a king-size bed on request) making it a great choice for younger guests. Please note that as the property is very secluded and not overlooked there are no window dressings in this room so guests may like to bring eye masks with them. Two further bedrooms a king-size and a double can also be found on the first floor and share a shower room offering a shower bidet and WC. The patio doors from the dining room open onto the impressive garden to the rear of the property where a patio seating area gives way to a large grassed paddock offering plenty of space to relax play and simply enjoy the tranquil surroundings. Guests also have access to eight acres of grounds which include fields and woodlands. The owners are happy for guests to explore this area and even to collect eggs from the resident hens.
