This cottage is located in the market town of Aylsham an attractive town of cobbled streets and narrow alleys offering an interesting array of shops and a twice-weekly market. To the north of the town the resort of Cromer is a perfect example of the quintessential English seaside town with a sandy beach a pier with traditional entertainment and an excellent range of independent cafes restaurants and bistros many of which allow diners to enjoy fresh local seafood. Alternatively visitors may like to try their hand at catching their own crabs off the pier a fun activity for all ages. To the south of the cottage meanwhile the city of Norwich is just 12 miles away whilst the peaceful waters of the Norfolk Broads can be reached with ease by car. This former-inn is a delightful place to stay awash with period features with period features which give it that authentic cottagey-feel. Stepping inside guests will find an entrance hall which leads onto a choice of two lounges. The first of these is the slightly larger of the two and offers two deep sofas which sit under a beamed ceiling next to a large fireplace with a warming wood burner and patio doors which lead out to the patio. There is a TV/DVD in this room as well as a CD player whilst the second lounge offers an additional TV/DVD so no one need miss a favourite programme. The second lounge is also home to an interesting original feature: the inn s original bread oven which sits in the feature fireplace. Returning to the entrance hall another door leads through to the dining room which in turn leads through to the kitchen. Guests will find a good range of equipment in the kitchen including an oven hob microwave fridge/freezer and dishwasher whilst there is a shared washing machine situated outside the cottage. Upstairs there are four bedrooms two of which are restful single rooms whilst the others are both double rooms one of which boasts an en-suite shower room with shower and WC. The house bathroom can also be found on the first floor and offers a shower-over-bath and WC. To the rear of the cottage there is a small courtyard patio which although modestly-sized has garden furniture and provides guests with a pleasant spot to enjoy alfresco drinks. There is off-road parking available for one car.
