Take a short drive to Bodinnick where you will find Ferryside Daphne du Mauriers home where she wrote her first book the car ferry leaves from here giving you easier access further into the west of Cornwall. Experience what Cornwall has to offer such as the Screech Owl Sanctuary and Wildlife Park hidden coves and beaches fantastic sailing waters the twin castles of Pendennis and St Mawes cliff top walks and the many National Trust properties and gardens. This family friendly cottage has a spacious entrance hallway with room to hang coats and store boots after a long day exploring. Moving on through the ground floor the lounge has two comfy sofas where you can sit and enjoy your favourite film on the Smart TV/DVD. Proceed to the large open plan well-equipped kitchen which has a dining area complete with large table and chairs big enough to seat the entire party. The stunning modern kitchen has an electric oven and hob microwave fridge/freezer and dishwasher. you will also find a seating area perfect for having morning coffee or reading a book. There is no private parking at the cottage parking is available in the local car parks which are close by. You are able to pull up outside the cottage to unload only. Polruan is a quaint little village situated on a very steep hill, so access to some parts of the village can be challenging.. Many of the amenities, ferries and cottages in Polruan are accessed via steps some of which can be steep. Please contact us if you have specific requirements.. There are many small winding streets that are not suitable for cars, therefore many properties in Polruan do not have private parking. However, there is a large pay and display carpark at the top of the village..
