Take a short drive to Bodinnick where you will find Ferryside Daphne du Mauriers home where she wrote her first book. The car ferry leaves from here giving you easier access further into the west of Cornwall giving access to experiences such as The Eden Project The Lost Gardens of Heligan the Tate at St Ives and Bodmin Jail. Enter the property to the hallway where you will find space to hang your coats and leave your boots. Immediately in front of you is the kitchen which is well-equipped with electric oven and hob microwave fridge freezer dishwasher and washer/dryer. Polruan is a quaint little village situated on a very steep hill, so access to some parts of the village can be challenging. . Many of the amenities, ferries and cottages in Polruan are accessed via steps/slopes some of which can be steep. Please contact us if you have specific requirements. . There are many small winding streets that are not suitable for cars, therefore many properties in Polruan do not have private parking. However, there is a large pay and display carpark at the top of the village. .
