Take the passenger ferry across to Fowey with further independent shops places to eat and art galleries. Heading a little further afield and visit the Eden Project The Lost Gardens of Heligan or Cardinham Woods with its waymarked trails and miles of tracks and paths weaving through 650-acres of scenic woodland. The South West Coast Path is right on your door step which offers plenty of opportunities to blow away the cobwebs. Polruan is a quaint little village situated on a very steep hill, so access to some parts of the village can be challenging.. Many of the amenities, ferries and cottages in Polruan are accessed via steps/slopes some of which can be steep. Please contact us if you have specific requirements.. There are many small winding streets that are not suitable for cars, therefore many properties in Polruan do not have private parking. However, there is a large pay and display carpark at the top of the village..
