Set in the village of Polruan it is well placed for a stroll to the blockhouse or cliff paths and being only seconds away from the centre of the village with a cafe shops pubs beach coal wharf and the foot passenger ferry to Fowey. For the walkers amongst you head onto the South West Coast Path which takes you along the shores of South Cornwall. If you prefer to be on the water you can head over to Fowey and explore the river on one of the many boat trips on offer. There are lots of places to visit in the area including St Catherine s Castle Lanhydrock House and Garden and the Eden Project. The front door opens into a cosy lounge/diner with TV/DVD and a wood burner. In the dining area is a dining table which is positioned by the front window so you can sit and enjoy the views of the river and all the river activity while you enjoy your dinner. The kitchen is well-equipped and has all the essentials for creating meals for two with an electric oven and hob microwave fridge with ice compartment dishwasher and a washer/dryer. Here you will also find a handy porch which has ample room for boots and coats. On the first floor is a shower room with shower and WC. Next door is the -king-size bedroom with character recesses and a feature fireplace however your eyes are usually drawn to the stunning view through the window. Outside the property there is a small raised patio area to the front of the cottage with outdoor table and chairs. There is no parking at the property however parking is available at the nearby car parks where charges apply. A luggage drop off point can be found 50 yards from the cottage.The cottage is within paces from the beach and village Quay. Due to the location of the cottage there is NO access to cottage by car. Dogs are charged at 20 each per full or part week. Need to know: 1 bedroom king size. 1 shower room. Electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge with ice compartment, dishwasher and washer/dryer. Polruan is a quaint little village situated on a very steep hill, so access to some parts of the village can be challenging.. Many of the amenities, ferries and cottages in Polruan are accessed via steps/ slopes some of which can be steep. Please contact us if you have specific requirements.. There are many small winding streets in and around the village, that are not suitable for cars, therefore many properties in Polruan do not have private parking. However, there is a large pay and display carpark at the top of the village..
