Hop on the passenger ferry to Fowey and take advantage of the independent shops and restaurants on offer or include it in a circular walk to Bodinnick when visiting Daphne Du Maurier s home. Alternatively go further afield to experience more of Cornwall and visit Lusty Glaze Beach near Newquay St Nectans Glen Waterfall Looe or Port Eliot. Polruan is situatued with easy access to the South West Coast Path allowing the enjoyment of days out with your four-legged friends without the need for a car. You will enter the cottage via the entrance hall which leads into a multi functional dining room with dining table and seating four which takes advantage of the views. There are also reading chairs electric fire and extra storage for walking gear. Passing through the dining room you reach the kitchen which is well-equipped with an electric oven and hob microwave fridge/freezer and dishwasher. The door from the kitchen leads to the rear out house where you will find the lockable utility outbuilding with washing machine tumble dryer and extra storage for beach equipment. Take the stairs up to the first floor you will find the cosy lounge with comfy corner sofa for you to snuggle up on watch a film on the TV/DVD or simply take in the river views. You will also find a children s bunk bedroom (2 6 bunks) and the family bathroom with bath and WC on this level. Proceed up another flight of stairs to the second floor where you will find the master double bedroom with en-suite shower room. To the front of the property there is a small raised slated patio area with seating for 2. Due to the location of the cottage is no private parking and little access to cottage by car. Polruan is a quaint little village situated on a very steep hill, so access to some parts of the village can be challenging.. Many of the amenities, ferries and cottages in Polruan are accessed via steps/ slopes some of which can be steep. Please contact us if you have specific requirements.. There are many small winding streets in and around Polruan that are not suitable for cars, therefore many properties in Polruan do not have private parking. However, there is a large pay and display carpark at the top of the village about a 10 minute walk away. (charges apply) .
