Tucked away along East Street in Polruan you can watch the lights come on in the evening across the river and enjoy the everchanging views. Polruan is an ancient fishing village famous for its boat building heritage. Perfectly positioned behind the thriving Polruan boat yard along the edge of the Fowey estuary. There are plenty of places to explore during your visit walking the many coast paths from Polruan. If it s a day out you are looking for why not head to visit the tall ships at Charlestown take the brewery tour in St Austell or visit the Eden project or take the Ferry to Mevagissey and visit the Lost Gardens of Heligan. Enter into the property through the hallway you will find a cosy lounge with a log effect electric fire and TV. From here head through to the well equipped kitchen/ dining area with electric oven and hob microwave fridge/freezer dishwasher and washer dryer. Enjoy the breath-taking views from the dining table that caters for six people. Through sliding doors you will find the conservatory with small seating area where you can sit relax and enjoy the everchanging views. To complete the ground level there is a twin bedroom and a shower room with shower and WC. Heading up the stairs to the first floor there are two double bedrooms and the family bathroom with shower over bath and WC. The final room of the house is the second lounge spacious and airy with sofa bed TV/DVD and magnificent views over the river from the picture windows. Heading outside you will find a patio area with seating for eight perfect for the al fresco dining with views over the boatyard and River Fowey . Parking is available in the public car parks nearby. A luggage drop off point is approx. 100 yards from the cottage. Need to know: 3 Bedrooms 2 doubles and 1 twin. 1 bathroom and ground floor 1 shower room. Electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and washer dryer. Electricity and central heating included. Bed linen and towels included. Parking is available at the public car park. Located behind a working boatyard.. Polruan is a quaint little village situated on a very steep hill, so access to some parts of the village can be challenging.. Many of the amenities, ferries and cottages in Polruan are accessed via steps, slopes some of which can be steep. Please contact us if you have specific requirements.. There are many small winding streets in and around the village, that are not suitable for cars, therefore many properties in Polruan do not have private parking. However there is a large pay and display carpark at the top of the village..
